CATEGORY OVERVIEW
F4 Championships allow drivers, mechanics & engineers to compete against the best young talents from around the world. As the first step to single-seater racing, the F4 car designed by Tatuus is the ideal learning machine, and allows teams to build strong racing foundations.
Maffi Racing is dedicated to growing together with the Series, and to promote it by showing our community the behind the scenes of high level racing, while engaging with motorsport enthusiasts around the world.
Formula 4 is an open-wheel single-seater race car series created by the FIA in 2014, as an entry level category for young drivers, from the age of 15. It was designed to bridge the gap between Karting, Formula 3 and beyond.
Maffi Racing competes in several F4 championships, the main one being the Italian F4, renowned for reuniting the top tier teams and drivers of the Series. Drivers joining Maffi Racing can also seek engagement in the rapidly growing CEZ F4 Championship and F4 Winter Series (Spain).

Free Practice 1 & 2 : 40 minutes on Fridays
Qualifying 1 & 2 : 15 minutes for each session, on Saturdays
Race 1 : 30 minutes + 1 lap on Saturday afternoon. Grid determined by Qualifying Session 1.
Race 2 : 30 minutes + 1 lap on Sunday morning. Grid determined by Qualifying Session 2.
Race 3 : 30 minutes + 1 lap on Sunday afternoon. Grid determined by second fastest lap of Qualifying.
