The very diverse origins of Maffi Racing, is a testament of our sport’s powerful impact in helping to drive cultures together. We firmly believe in the rewarding impact a racing brand committed to that cause can have.
Our burning passion and commitment for racing drives the team to further develop the accessibility and visibility of Motorsports in Switzerland and Internationally. Maffi Racing wishes to reunite past and present racing enthusiasts through a modern approach of racing.

AUTO SERVICE GIORGIO MAFFI, 1960s
ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA
Giorgio Maffi started working at the age of 14 to sustain his family, joining the only VW company in Ethiopia. He decided later on to open his own car workshop business in 1968.
He consequently got involved in many races and co-founded the Ethiopian Motorsport Federation to serve as its race director. Motor racing became extremely popular in Ethiopia, and participants were pushed to creative heights to overcome the limited resources that were available to them in terms of racing parts and equipment.
