Motorsport is one of the few arenas where background genuinely doesn't matter once the visor goes down. We're building a team that reflects that, men and women, from everywhere, with a clear pathway from first laps to professional racing. Diversity isn't a policy at Maffi Racing. It's the founding story.
Maffi Racing exists because motorsport shouldn't have borders, not geographic, not cultural, not financial. We run drivers in Formula 4, Karting and E-sports, building real careers from the ground up.
Our roots stretch from 1960s Ethiopia to present-day Geneva. That's not a slogan; it's who we are. A team built across continents, cultures and generations .Our goal : connect generations by creating tomorrow‘s racing scene.
TIMELINE
AUTO SERVICE GIORGIO MAFFI, 1960s
ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA
Giorgio Maffi started working at the age of 14 to sustain his family, joining the only VW company in Ethiopia. He decided later on to open his own car workshop business in 1968.
He consequently got involved in many races and co-founded the Ethiopian Motorsport Federation to serve as its race director. Motor racing became extremely popular in Ethiopia, and participants were pushed to creative heights to overcome the limited resources that were available to them in terms of racing parts and equipment.
